Is Word Sudoku hard for beginners?
+Word Sudoku is designed to be accessible for beginners. The app includes 4×4 grids (the easiest size) in Levels mode, and Practice mode is untimed so you can learn at your own pace. If you're new to Sudoku-style puzzles, start with the 4×4 boards and work your way up to larger grids.
How many mistakes am I allowed?
+You're allowed 3 mistakes per puzzle. After your third mistake, the board resets and you'll need to start the puzzle over. You can watch a rewarded video ad to revive and continue from where you left off instead of resetting.
Does Word Sudoku work offline?
+Yes, Word Sudoku works offline. The app automatically saves your progress, so you can play without an internet connection. Your puzzle state is preserved locally and will sync when you reconnect.
How do hints work?
+Hints are available via rewarded video ads. When you're stuck, you can watch a short ad to reveal one correct letter on the board. This can help break through difficult spots without using up your mistake allowance.
What happens if I lose signal mid-puzzle?
+If you lose internet connection during a puzzle, the app continues to work and your progress is saved locally. When you reconnect, your progress will sync automatically. You won't lose your place in the puzzle.
Do I need an account to play?
+No, you don't need an account to play Word Sudoku. You can enjoy all game modes without signing up. Creating an account is only required if you want to appear on the global leaderboard in Daily Challenge mode.
How is the leaderboard score calculated?
+In Daily Challenge mode, your leaderboard ranking is based on your completion time—the faster you solve the puzzle, the higher your rank. Only players with accounts appear on the global leaderboard, and everyone competes on the same puzzle each day.
What's the difference between game modes?
+Daily Challenge is a shared global puzzle with a ranked leaderboard. Levels mode offers progressive difficulty from 4×4 to 16×16 boards that you unlock sequentially. Wildcard mode lets you generate puzzles around any word you choose. Practice mode is untimed and unranked for casual play.
